The Role
- Design and develop core software solutions within a collaborative team
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle and contribute to maturing DevOps practices
- Apply technical knowledge to drive outcomes for customers
- Work and problem solve independently on initiatives aligned to the broader software engineering strategy
- Develop core software that delivers outcomes and meets expectations for stability, scalability, and resilience
- Provide technical expertise and help the team solve software issues, including training junior developers
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 3-5+ years of Engineering experience
- Sound knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and industry standard practices
- Experience with Java, Spring, Kafka, SQL, Python, and AI tools like Github Copilot
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts and systems design for security and stability
- Innovative mindset, highly collaborative, and constantly thinking new and different approaches
