2x Cloud Developer - GitLab to GitHub migration

We are looking for two Cloud Developer - GitLab to GitHub migration to one of our clients within Banking & Finance.

Start date: 2026-09-28

End date: 2027-03-31

Location: Stockholm (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

About the assignment:

You will join the Cloud Foundation GCP team to execute a migration of source code repositories from GitLab to GitHub, including all CI/CD pipelines, integrations, and dependencies. The role focuses on analyzing existing pipelines, rewriting them for GitHub Actions, and ensuring a seamless handover with full knowledge transfer to the internal team.

Core Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing GitLab CI/CD pipelines and rewrite them for GitHub Actions
• Execute repository migrations and ensure all build, test, deployment, and security processes remain operational
• Identify and resolve technical challenges and blockers in collaboration with stakeholders
• Verify that repositories, access, integrations, and workflows function correctly post-migration
• Document configurations, migration procedures, and transfer knowledge to the GCP Cloud Foundation team

Profile & Qualifications:

• Experienced cloud developer with strong background in complex enterprise environments
• Proven ability to work with multiple technical stakeholders in agile and collaborative settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills essential for close team cooperation
