In this role, you will take ownership of the company's enterprise GitLab platform, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement. You will play a key part in enabling modern software delivery practices by optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating platform operations, and supporting development teams across the organization.

Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cloud-native applications and microservices using Golang.
- Design and implement scalable backend solutions utilizing Echo, Kubebuilder, SQLC, and Temporal.
- Build and enhance modern frontend applications using React and Material UI.
- Design, develop, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support automated software delivery and deployment processes.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OpenID Connect (OIDC).
- Design, optimize, and maintain data solutions leveraging PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Kafka.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.
- Monitor application performance, reliability, and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Drive automation initiatives and promote DevOps best practices across the software development lifecycle.
- Degree in Computer Science (University, University of Applied Sciences, Higher Technical Education, or equivalent certification) or comparable further education, combined with several years of professional experience.
- Strong professional experience in Golang development
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies such as Echo, Kubebuilder, SQLC, and Temporal
- Experience building modern frontend applications using React and Material UI
- Solid expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience working with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Kafka
- Good understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
- Familiarity with microservices architectures and cloud-native application design
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Experience in service provider, telecommunications (Telco), or managed services environments.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duty rotations and residence in Switzerland.
