What You Can Expect
- Identify, develop, and actively pursue new business opportunities within the contract segment, expanding Vitra’s customer base in the US.
- Sell and promote the full Vitra portfolio, including premium products, Circle4Contract solutions, services, and integrated concepts.
- Develop strategic account plans to maximize revenue and margin, ensuring structured follow-up and long-term growth.
- Prepare, optimize, and negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and discount agreements in line with commercial objectives.
- Proactively manage and deepen relationships with national and international key accounts, acting as a trusted strategic advisor.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, coordinating internal stakeholders such as sales support, marketing, and project teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Actively engage with architects, interior designers, and project developers to generate product specifications and project opportunities.
- Organize and deliver presentations, workshops, and inspirational sessions for the A&D community to strengthen brand preference and visibility.
- Monitor market developments, trends, and competitive activities at both local and international levels, translating insights into commercial opportunities.
- Use the CRM system Salesforce to manage pipelines, record activities, prepare forecasts, and track performance against defined commercial targets.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and sales support on campaigns, lead generation initiatives, trade fairs, events, and networking activities to reinforce Vitra’s brand presence.
- Salary range of $130,000 – $190,000
- Several years of experience in contract sales, key account management, or business development, ideally within premium furniture, interiors, or design-led environments.
- Strong understanding of the contract market and proven experience working with architects, designers, and project developers.
- Demonstrated ability to build long-term client relationships and manage complex sales cycles.
- Solid commercial acumen, including experience in contract negotiation, pricing, and margin management.
- Confident presentation and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and advise at a strategic level.
- Structured, self-driven, and comfortable working independently.
- Experience working with CRM systems and a data-driven approach to sales management.
- Willingness to travel within the US and occasionally internationally.
- Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the US.
