Senior Engineer (Monitoring) at BairesDev

As a Senior Engineer (Monitoring), you will lead the design and implementation of large-scale observability systems to ensure the reliability of complex distributed environments. You will act as a specialist in transforming raw telemetry into actionable operational intelligence, enabling engineering teams to maintain high performance across diverse infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Architect and manage enterprise-grade observability platforms for metrics, logs, and traces.
• Standardize telemetry data collection and instrumentation using OpenTelemetry and modern log pipelines.
• Design sophisticated monitoring dashboards and visualization strategies to provide deep system visibility.
• Partner with engineering teams to define robust alerting frameworks and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
• Drive the adoption of advanced observability practices to accelerate incident detection and root cause analysis.
• Optimize the performance and cost-efficiency of observability tools across hybrid cloud environments.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Observability, Monitoring, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Proven expertise in building and scaling observability infrastructure for metrics, logging, and tracing.
• Proficiency with monitoring and visualization tools including Prometheus and Grafana.
• Hands-on experience with log management and pipelines using ELK, OpenSearch, or Vector.
• Deep understanding of distributed tracing standards using OpenTelemetry.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
