Location: Fort Huachuca, AZ


Clearance Level: Secret Required to Start


Required Certification(s): ITIL, SCRUM or SAFE 



Job DescriptionWe are seeking a collaborative and driven Software Quality, Functional and Development testing analyst. In this role, the ideal candidate will be an integral part of ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with product owners, developers, and program management to validate functional requirements while also contributing to the advancement of the system to the production environment.
 
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze and validate user stories, technical specifications, and functional requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage. 

  • Design, write, and execute detailed test cases, and test scenarios for functional, integration, and regression testing phases. 

  • Identify, document, and track software defects, at times collaborating with development teams to recreate or perform root-cause analysis. 

  • Work closely with teammates, product owners, software developers, and program management to ensure alignment of quality goals and project deliverables. 

  • Design, execute, and maintain functional test cases to validate that application features meet established requirements and acceptance criteria. 

  • Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to provide testing status and quality metrics. 


Education and Background

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of experience; or an Associate’s degree with at least 6 years of experience; or at least 60 semester hours of formal education working towards a Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of experience; or 8 years of experience


Required Skills

  • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal

  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks within restricted timeframes

  • Detail-oriented, able to work independently, self-motivated, and a proactive team player 


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with government contract writing, including familiarity with federal accounting and entitlement systems


Working Conditions

  • Office setting, sedentary
