Position Summary

SDET II

As an SDET II, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality software testing and automation solutions that support client and business outcomes. You will use your experience in test automation, quality engineering, and Agile delivery to design, execute, and enhance scalable testing approaches. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into effective automated test coverage, improve testing efficiency, and help drive consistent delivery quality. You will also contribute to knowledge sharing, process improvement, and automation innovation across engagements.

Work you'll do

As an SDET II on the Engineering as a Service team, you will be responsible for …

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Tricentis TOSCA and Selenium
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and quality engineering team members to translate functional requirements and user stories into automated test scenarios and test cases
• Integrate automation assets with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools, including Jenkins and Azure DevOps
• Maintain and enhance automation frameworks, test suites, and test data approaches to support scalable execution
• Analyze test results, log and track defects, and work with development teams through resolution
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members, prepare test status reporting, and support process improvement initiatives

Shift Timings: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Qualifications

Required:

• 4-6 years of Hands-on automation testing experience with Tricentis TOSCA (test case design, execution, test data management, and reporting) and Selenium.
• B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
• Strong knowledge of test automation concepts and best practices.
• Experience in analyzing functional requirements or test cases\user stories and converting them into automated test scenarios/cases.
• Experience in automating web, API, and desktop applications using TOSCA and Selenium.
• Proficiency in test case design techniques (e.g., equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps) for automation integration.
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of automation test strategy & test planning.
• Understanding of automation frameworks models.
• Able to drive the functional walkthrough and review calls with client\ functional\ development teams.
• Able to perform estimation of test activities using quantitative methods.
• Experience in test status reporting and leading a small team of 2-3 members.
• Hands-on experience in designing end-to-end test scenarios and defining\ implementing a scalable test data framework for execution.
• Experience in different SDLC/STLC lifecycles (Agile, waterfall) and methodologies.
• Experience in different test phases with standardized QA processes.
• Experience with QA specific tools for test management, test execution progress, defect tracking and triaging.
• Experience in defect logging, tracking, and closing defects.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domains and apply technical solutioning and learnings to use cases across business domains and industries.
• Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tool .

• Experience with TOSCA integrations (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow).
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, VBScript).
• Exposure to other automation tools (e.g., UI Path, Worksoft Certify, Selenium, UFT).
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, qTest ).
• Understanding of DevOps practices and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in test automation, with at least 4 year of hands-on TOSCA automation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Track record of delivering automation solutions in enterprise-scale projects.
• Participation in end-to-end automation lifecycle: requirements analysis, scripting, execution, defect management, and reporting.
