- DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
- Lead design and development of ETL/data pipelines, enabling scalable data ingestion, transformation, and consumption.
- Build and optimize data pipelines on AWS (EMR, S3, Spark) and Snowflake, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Drive API-based and file-based ingestion frameworks for internal and external data sources.
- Establish and enforce best practices across ETL, CI/CD, and data engineering frameworks.
- Lead performance tuning and optimization across pipelines and data workloads.
- Manage delivery, estimation, and cross-squad coordination.
- Mentor team members and contribute to data platform innovation and continuous improvement.
- Minimum 8+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
- Strong experience in AWS (EMR, S3) and Snowflake/Oracle/Postgres (data modeling, optimization).
- Proficiency in Spark/PySpark.
- Experience with API integrations, batch/stream data ingestion.
- Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Maven, Jira).
- Good to have Java or Python coding skill
- Experience supporting enterprise data platforms or similar.
- Strong focus on data quality, validation, and performance optimization.
- Ability to translate business analytics needs into scalable data solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Solid ability to capture and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specification.
- Writing and implementing the unit test scenarios / cases to ensure the code quality and reliability.
- Deep understanding of all lifecycle components (code, test, deploy)
- Ability to communicate designs to peers and Product Owner for approval.
- Fix and debugging code to resolve technical issues.
- Optimizing application performance to ensure efficient use of software resources.
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
