Platform Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to help develop and operate the infrastructure behind a business-critical financial technology platform.

You will work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, automation, developer experience and operational reliability. Your work will enable engineering teams to build, deploy and operate secure services supporting high-volume financial transactions.

What you will work on

You will join a collaborative technology environment and help:

• Design, operate and improve cloud and container platforms
• Develop reusable infrastructure using Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tooling
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-based deployment processes
• Strengthen monitoring, observability and incident-management capabilities
• Automate manual infrastructure and operational processes
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, security and performance
• Support software engineers with deployment tooling and self-service platform capabilities
• Contribute to cloud architecture and longer-term technical decisions

Core skills

We would like to speak with engineers who have:

• Professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, cloud engineering or infrastructure engineering
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerised environments
• Experience using Terraform, Ansible or comparable Infrastructure-as-Code technology
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, deployment automation and modern development workflows
• Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of Linux, networking and cloud security
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools
• Professional fluency in English (Swedish is desirable)

Relevant additional experience

Experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial:

• Payments, banking, FinTech or financial services
• High-volume or transaction-critical technology platforms
• GitLab, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD or other GitOps tooling
• Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK or similar observability platforms
• PCI DSS, DORA or another regulated technology environment
• Kafka, RabbitMQ or event-driven distributed systems
• Backend development using Java, Kotlin, C#, Go or Python

Direct payments experience is not essential. We are also interested in engineers from e-commerce, retail technology, telecommunications and other environments where security, scalability and availability are critical.
