- Creation of test plans, test specifications, and test data
- Support in the development of test strategies and the continuous improvement of manual and automated test processes
- Continuous development, maintenance, and optimization of test frameworks
- Design, implementation, and enhancement of an automated regression test suite
- Conducting and evaluating software tests at our offices and at our customers’ sites
- Creating test reports and statistics
- Fault localization and creation of clear, meaningful issue reports in close collaboration with software development
- Review and validation of system requirements with a focus on testability and quality
- Application of strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent
- Hands-on experience in executing both manual and automated tests, with the flexibility to switch between both as required
- Structured, analytical mindset, precise working style, proactive attitude and strong team orientation
- Solid knowledge of XML, XPath and XQuery
- Good understanding of network protocols and standards, including SOAP, REST and Web Services
- Experience with client–server architectures
- Experience in dealing with software and computer systems on different platforms (Windows, Linux)
- Experience with frontend test automation frameworks
- Practical experience with at least one programming or scripting language
- Experience with API test automation tools
- ISTQB certification or a successfully completed technical degree (computer science or similar) or equivalent professional experience as a test engineer
- Playwright desirable
- Practical experience with at least one programming or scripting language (preferably Python)
- Experience with API test automation tools (preferably SoapUI)
- Very good spoken and written English
- German skills are an advantage
