R&D Test Engineer Stationary Industrial Scanners

Perform testing (both manual and automation) on different Stationary Industrial Scanner products.

Build specific tools to support features testing, especially electronics parts.

Specific Responsibilities

• Execute software tests, perform defect verification, perform release testing which may require research and analysis.
• Design manual test cases as well as implement automation test scripts.
• Identify non-complaint SW features and document via established tools.
• Prepares technical documentation of product sub-systems.
• Conducts sub-systems and system level testing to ensure the product meets specified requirements.
• Research problems discovered during testing and develop solutions to the problems

Technical Skills

• Knowledge about electronics and programming tools
• Knowledge in automation tests, and developing test scripts
• Experience in API testing, TypeScript, PlayWright, Python, C#
• Knowledge of Linux, Git
• Knowledge of CI/CD, JFrog, or Jenkins is a plus

• Time management ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Good analytical thinking
• Good communication skills and teamwork collaboration
• Eagerness for new technologies and innovation: A passion for staying up to date with the latest testing trends and technologies in the Auto ID industry

• Education: Bachelor's degree in electronics, computer engineering, software engineering, computer science or equivalent
• YoE: 0-4 years of experience (fresher is welcome)
• Nice to have: Automation test using programming language knowledge and experience.
