The BDM is responsible for managing the complete sales cycle with the aim of maximizing revenue, Gross Profit, and customer satisfaction by developing strong relationships with key stakeholders within Google, channel partners, and end customers. The role will focus on driving Google business growth, enabling partners, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering best-in-class value-added services.
Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and implement Google-specific business initiatives and go-to-market programs.
- Drive partner recruitment, enablement, and engagement to expand the Google ecosystem.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Google stakeholders, channel partners, and key end customers.
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for Google Cloud, Google Workspace, and related services.
- Work closely with the sales team to drive pipeline generation, partner-led opportunities, and revenue growth.
- Execute business operations including credit management, order processing, and AR collections.
- Ensure operational excellence through effective pipeline management, sales forecasting, and inventory planning (where applicable).
- Support partners with business planning, demand generation activities, and marketing initiatives.
- Track market trends, competitive activities, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
- Deliver regular business reviews and performance updates to internal management and Google stakeholders.
- 8-10 years of relevant sales, business development, or channel management experience.
- Experience working with vendors, distributors, channel partners, or system integrators within the IT industry.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, SaaS solutions, productivity platforms, or enterprise software is highly preferred.
- Experience in Google Cloud, Google Workspace, Microsoft, AWS, or other cloud ecosystems would be an advantage.
- Strong business development, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sales pipelines, forecasting, and partner engagement activities.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels.
- Analytical mindset with strong commercial awareness and problem-solving capabilities.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
