What You'll Do
- Design secure, resilient landing zones, network patterns, identity boundaries, shared services, and workload architectures.
- Implement cloud infrastructure through reviewed, reusable infrastructure-as-code and automated configuration.
- Establish monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, patching, and operational runbooks.
- Apply least privilege, encryption, segmentation, secrets management, and cloud security controls.
- Produce architecture decisions, diagrams, implementation standards, and customer-ready technical documentation.
- Lead technical reviews, resolve high-impact incidents, and mentor engineers across programs.
- Join an established small business with more than 20 years of experience supporting customers and solving complex technology and mission needs.
- Work remotely within the United States while contributing to meaningful customer outcomes.
- Take ownership of complex work and collaborate directly with experienced technical and program professionals.

Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent directly relevant experience.
- Seven or more years of infrastructure or cloud engineering experience, including senior ownership of production cloud environments.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud networking, identity, security, automation, resiliency, observability, and cost management.
- Demonstrated ability to translate requirements into defensible architecture and implementation decisions.
- Experience supporting federal, defense, regulated, or FedRAMP-aligned environments.
- AWS Professional/Specialty, Azure Expert, Kubernetes, Terraform, or comparable certification.
- Experience with multi-account or multi-subscription governance and hybrid-cloud integration.
