Senior Infrastructure Automation & Security Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer to work on a hands-on engineering initiative focused on automating vulnerability management, patching, access governance, and configuration compliance across enterprise backup and storage platforms.

What you'll work on 👨‍💻
🔹 Automating patching and vulnerability remediation across backup and storage platforms
🔹 Building automation workflows using Python, PowerShell, APIs, and orchestration tools
🔹 Developing CVE-to-asset correlation capabilities
🔹 Implementing backup security and configuration compliance validation
🔹 Building configuration drift detection using NetApp ActiveIQ and ONTAP APIs
🔹 Automating access deprovisioning workflows connected to IAM/HR events
🔹 Implementing credential rotation and secrets management
🔹 Creating audit-ready documentation and evidence for automated security controls
What we're looking for 🎯

Candidates should have:
✔️ 7+ years of relevant IT experience
✔️ Strong hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and scripting
✔️ Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting experience
✔️ Experience working with REST APIs and automation/orchestration tools
✔️ Knowledge of vulnerability management, CVEs, and patch management
✔️ Experience with enterprise backup/storage technologies such as PPDM, Data Domain, Avamar, Rubrik, or NetApp ONTAP
✔️ Ability to independently build and deliver production-grade solutions
Nice to have ⭐
CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, or similar secrets management tools
NetApp ActiveIQ experience
Configuration drift detection
FIPS and encryption-at-rest knowledge
IAM/HR system integrations
CI/CD or Infrastructure-as-Code experience
