Software Test Engineer (Automation & Manual Testing – Web/Win/Mobile/APIs)

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Test Engineer with expertise in Automation and Manual Testing across Web, Windows, Mobile applications, and APIs. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and executing test strategies, developing automation frameworks, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of testing best practices, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Job Description

• Test Planning & Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for Web, Windows, Mobile, and API testing.
• Automation Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright.
• Manual Testing: Perform functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing.
• API Testing: Develop and execute automated and manual API tests using Postman, REST Assured, Karate.
• Performance & Security Testing: Work with tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP.
• Bug Reporting & Tracking: Identify defects and track them using JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail.
• CI/CD & DevOps: Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to improve software quality.

• CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
• Mobile Testing: Experience testing on Android & iOS platforms
• Database Testing: SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB

Preferred Qualification

• Strong knowledge of Test Automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-Driven, BDD, POM).
• Experience in Cloud Testing (AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in AI-driven test automation tools (Testim, Mabl, etc.) is a plus.

Education

• Masters/bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent work experience.
