Technical Support Engineer - Kubernetes

Role Description Kubernetes Technical Support Engineer is a full-time hybrid role based in Woodbridge, CT, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role provides technical support for Vaidio’s AI Vision Platform, focusing on Kubernetes-based deployments and related infrastructure. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, guiding customers through configuration and usage, and managing escalations in collaboration with engineering and product teams.

The Technical Support Engineer will monitor system performance, analyze logs, create and maintain documentation, and contribute to best practices for reliability and scalability. The role also involves communicating clearly with customers, ensuring timely resolution of support requests, and helping improve the overall support experience.

Qualifications

• Strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills for containerized applications and Kubernetes-Docker Container based environments.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret logs, metrics, and system behavior and identify root causes.
• Experience in Customer Support and Customer Service, including clear communication, empathy, and issue ownership.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux-based systems; familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is beneficial.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience supporting enterprise software or AI/analytics platforms is a plus.
