We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a retail organization in Kuwait and play a key role in the development and evolution of their customer-facing digital platforms, including their website and mobile applications.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced software engineering professional who enjoys remaining hands-on with coding while leading a high-performing team of developers.
The role:
- Hands-on with significant time spent coding and contributing to core product codebases
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of technical staff
- Design, develop, and enhance customer-facing web and mobile applications (search engines, apple pay etc.)
- Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation and architecture through development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement
- Develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices
Technical:
- Strong experience building and scaling web applications and mobile-enabled platforms
- Laravel / PHP
- RESTful APIs and Microservices Architecture
- JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, or similar) and Flutter
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services
Education:
- Must have at least a Bachelors degree to apply for this role
