You’ll partner closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and business leaders while supporting onboarding and offboarding, benefits, leaves of absence, employee questions, HR programs, and other people initiatives. As Stark Tech continues to grow, you’ll also have opportunities to expand your HR knowledge and gain exposure to areas such as employee relations, talent initiatives, investigations, and training.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as an HR resource for employees and leaders across our Florida operations, helping answer questions and connecting them with the right support when needed.
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and offboarding activities to help create a smooth employee experience.
- Support the administration of employee benefits, including benefit orientations, enrollments, documentation, and related HRIS activities.
- Coordinate employee leaves of absence in accordance with company practices and applicable state and federal requirements.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to support interviews and hiring decisions.
- Maintain accurate and organized employee records and HR documentation.
- Support and promote HR programs, policies, employee recognition, and other initiatives that contribute to a positive employee experience.
- Partner with HR leadership on employee relations matters, investigations, talent initiatives, training, and other areas while continuing to build your HR knowledge and experience.
- Stay current on HR best practices, employment regulations, and evolving HR technology.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives that support Stark Tech’s continued growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience, ideally with exposure to multiple areas of the employee lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR practices.
- Experience navigating HRIS platforms; reporting experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across different levels of the organization.
- Sound judgment and the ability to handle employee information with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a growing, evolving organization and adapting as business needs change.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with tools such as Smartsheet is a plus.
