What You Will Do
The Production Reconciliation Specialist ensures the absolute accuracy of manufacturing data within our ERP systems. This role bridges the gap between physical shop floor operations and digital inventory records. The role reconciles material consumption and ensures manufacturing orders are structurally complete and accurately finalized. This position is vital to maintaining inventory precision, accurate operational costing, and seamless supply chain workflows.
ERP systems: TrakSYS Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Sequel (SQL), and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
How You Will Make An Impact
- Batch Reconciliation: Audit batch records in D365 production journals to verify correct raw material consumption and finished goods output.
- Order Closure: Ensure all manufacturing orders are fully processed, balanced, and financially "ended" within the D365 Production Control module.
- Data Auditing: Identify, investigate, and correct discrepancies between ERP systems before final inventory posting.
- Collaboration:
- Work with the cross functional team during investigations to provide traceability records for consumed ingredients.
- Ability to adjust work schedule as needed to support the 24/7 operation.
- Process Enforcement:
- Work closely with end users to improve the accuracy and timeliness of journal postings.
- Develop, deliver, and maintain ERP training material for end users.
- Work with projects that may change the scope of our ERP systems to understand and revise training material for end users.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in data integrity, production control, order management, or inventory reconciliation within a manufacturing environment.
- ERP Proficiency: Hands-on experience navigating and executing workflows within MES, SQL, and D365.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical mindset with an exceptional eye for detail and data patterns.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively problem solve variances with end users.
- Software Competency: Proficient in Microsoft Products.
