Development Team Lead with People Management responsibility

At Dalux, we build mission-critical software used by construction projects in more than 140 countries. Our product teams own real impact - from idea to deployment - and we are now looking for a Team Lead who can combine technical credibility with strong people leadership.

As Team Lead, you are responsible for a dedicated software development team working on our product. Besides a Team Lead and a Tech Lead, each team consists of software developers (6 to 12 people total), as well as an associated Product Manager and a Product Designer.

This role combines your flair for planning and execution with people management; in other words, you will be accountable for your team’s delivery as well as its well-being and working culture.

The role has three essential parts:

• Product & Delivery Ownership

Together with the Product Manager and Product Designer, you form the core leadership of your product team. We call this the Product Trio.

Your tasks:

• Ensure strong collaboration as part of the Product Trio
• Balance feasibility with value and usability
• Drive clarity in scope, priorities, and technical direction
• Ensure realistic planning, clear commitments, and predictable high-quality delivery
• Continuous Improvement & Coordination

As a leader in Dalux Development, you contribute to strengthening our engineering culture and ways of working.

Your tasks:

• Ensure continuous improvement of your team’s processes and developer experience
• Contribute to or drive cross-team feature initiatives when relevant
• Help scale our organization while maintaining quality and culture by engaging in leadership forums, guilds, and initiatives.
• People Management

You ensure your developers are motivated, engaged, and supported in their professional growth.

Your tasks:

• Support continuous growth through sparring, mentoring, and career development discussions.
• Conduct regular 1–1s and maintain a strong team atmosphere through servant leadership and with a strong emphasis on coaching.
• Conduct recruitment interviews, assess optimal team placement, and finalize employment contracts.
• Handle performance improvement and yearly salary adjustments.

About You

• You have a record of taking responsibility — either technical or people leadership
• You are a structured person who can balance delivery pressure with long-term quality
• You have the skill to lead developers and the motivation to help them grow
• You have a university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar
• You have a strong background in software development (experience in C#/.NET, Angular, AWS or similar technologies is a plus)
• You understand Agile Software Development and empowered product teams
