Human Resources (HR) Generalist

Responsibilities:
• Lead recruitment activities for assigned openings by preparing postings, reviewing applicants, coordinating interviews, and maintaining clear communication throughout the selection process.
• Update and organize job documentation to keep position details accurate, current, and aligned with business and compliance needs.
• Prepare employment paperwork, assist with contract renewal administration, and ensure timely distribution and tracking of HR documents.
• Coordinate offboarding activities, including separation paperwork, internal communication, and completion of required exit processes.
• Manage unemployment claim responses and related records while meeting state deadlines and documentation standards.
• Maintain confidential employee files and HR data with careful attention to accuracy, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Administer learning management activities in Paycom, including training assignments, completion tracking, and record maintenance.
• Partner with department leaders to identify development needs and support training initiatives that encourage employee growth.
• Assist with HR policy and procedure updates and contribute to engagement initiatives that enhance culture and organizational effectiveness.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to managers and employees on standard HR practices, policies, and employee relations matters.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of progressive experience in human resources support or generalist work.
• Working knowledge of employment law, HR compliance standards, and accepted HR practices.
• Experience using HRIS platforms; familiarity with Paycom is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
• Organized approach to managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and administrative details.
• Background supporting onboarding, employee relations, benefits-related processes, or general HR administration.
