Test Lead

About the Role

We are looking for a Testing & Automation Team Lead with strong experience in card payment systems to lead quality assurance activities for mission-critical payment platforms.

In this role, you will drive testing strategy, execution, and automation initiatives across solutions supporting authorization, clearing, and settlement processes.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and clients to ensure that our payment platforms meet the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale payment ecosystems powering banks, fintechs, and financial institutions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Delivery

• Define and implement testing strategies and test campaigns across manual and automated testing.

• Plan and manage end-to-end QA activities across the full SDLC.

• Ensure complete test coverage for business and technical requirements.

• Prepare test plans, test cases, and test scenarios aligned with project objectives.

• Manage test data preparation and simulation environments.

Payment Platform Quality Assurance

• Validate card payment flows, including authorization, clearing, and settlement.

• Ensure compliance with card scheme requirements (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, etc.).

• Support certification testing processes with payment schemes.

• Investigate complex transaction scenarios and ensure system reliability.

Automation & Continuous Quality

• Drive test automation strategy and increase regression automation coverage.

• Improve testing efficiency through automation and process improvements.

• Monitor test campaign performance metrics and KPIs.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers.

• Allocate tasks, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of testing activities.

• Promote testing best practices, standards, and quality processes across teams.

• Support continuous development and skill growth of team members.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and clients.

• Participate in project planning, sprint ceremonies, and release readiness reviews.

• Provide clear reporting on testing progress, risks, and quality indicators.

Required Qualifications

🎓 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

💼 8–10 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance

🌍 Professional English proficiency
