Java Developer Contract

Position Summary:

Location: Newark, DE/ Day -1 Onsite (Hybrid 3 days office 2 days remote)

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Interview: In-person

Pay Range: $65/hr.; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

Senior Application Developer will be responsible/need to understand business needs and update application code with unit testing, provide dev support during testing, creating proof of concept for new technology evaluation, support application deployment and creating production plan. They will be working on an agile team with a team lead. May have client interactions.

Required Qualifications

• Expertise in Java/J2EE technologies with minimum of 7 year of experience.
• well versed in technologies like Spring, Spring Integration, Cassandra, Kafka, MQ, NOSQL & Restful services, WS-Security,
• Expertise in container & cloud technologies like Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS and Azure
• Hands on experience on tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ, Splunk, Dynatrace & Autosys etc
• Writing complex SQL queries (Oracle/SQL Server)
• Writing complex Unix/Linux scripting
• Hands on experience in UI technologies like Angular and React
• Hands on experience on Code Quality Tools like JUnit, Sonar/Crucible
• Experience on modern development methodology including Agile
