Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, build, and operate end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for a customer engagement. This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines covering build, test, security scanning, deployment, and verification.
• Manage Kubernetes deployments using Helm/Kustomize and GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
• Build secure and optimized Docker/OCI container images.
• Implement DevSecOps practices including SAST, DAST, SCA, secret detection, and container scanning.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes, container, and production deployment issues.
• Implement security, compliance, auditability, and least-privilege practices.
• Present technical solutions and design decisions to senior technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain technical documentation and manage delivery activities through Jira and Confluence.

Requirements:

• 6–10 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or DevSecOps.
• Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Terraform.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including IAM and managed Kubernetes.
• Bash scripting plus Python or Go.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD security and vulnerability scanning.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong client-facing, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

• ArgoCD/Flux, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
• Istio/Linkerd and advanced ingress.
• SBOM, Cosign/Sigstore, and SLSA.
• CKA/CKAD/CKS or cloud/security certifications.
• Experience in regulated industries or Internal Developer Platforms.
