Software Tester

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mid-Level QA Tester to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web and mobile applications.
• Perform both manual and automated testing while adhering to industry best practices and quality standards.
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks using tools such as Playwright and Appium.
• Conduct API testing for RESTful services and develop automated API tests using tools such as Rest Assured.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, compatibility, and end-to-end testing across multiple platforms and environments.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.
• Utilize AI-powered development and testing tools, such as Claude, Cursor, and similar technologies, to improve testing efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain clear and detailed documentation of testing processes, test results, and quality metrics.
• Continuously evaluate and implement new testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance, including both manual and automated testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright and Appium.
• Solid knowledge of API testing and experience with REST APIs and Rest Assured.
• Proven experience in both manual and automation testing.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development and testing tools, such as Claude, Cursor, and similar platforms.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests into deployment workflows.
• Experience with bug-tracking and test management tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
