💼 About The Role
As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping Qargo's data landscape. You'll build and maintain reliable data models, develop impactful dashboards, and turn complex datasets into actionable insights that support decision-making across the organisation.
This role offers plenty of variety and impact. You'll collaborate with product, engineering, sales, account management, finance, and customer onboarding teams to help make data a strategic asset for Qargo.
You'll contribute to both internal and customer-facing dashboards, help scale our data infrastructure, and support the continued growth of our analytics capabilities as Qargo expands.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and improve Qargo's data models and data pipelines, ensuring reliable and high-quality data.
- Maintain, extend and optimise our in-app Lightdash dashboards, including operational, financial, and performance insights.
- Build and refine internal BI dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across departments.
- Develop account management dashboards that reveal feature adoption, revenue insights, and upsell opportunities.
- Create product and engineering analytics, including feature usage dashboards using Mixpanel or custom-built tracking solutions.
- Support integration-related reporting by building dashboards that provide visibility into integration health, tenant usage, and performance.
- Build billing and cost-analysis dashboards, including API call cost allocation and tenant-level breakdowns.
- Continuously improve our analytics environment by identifying opportunities to optimise data quality, reporting, and processes.
- At least 2 years of experience in data analytics, BI engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar role in a SaaS or data-driven environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data modelling, and dashboarding tools (Lightdash, Superset, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI).
- Experience with analytics platforms such as Mixpanel and user behaviour tracking methodologies is a plus.
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including product, engineering, sales, and finance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data quality and scalability.
- A background in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
