Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, Systems Administration, or similar roles.
- Good knowledge of Linux and Windows environments and systems administration.
- Experience with BMC Control-M or other enterprise/industrial scheduling tools.
- Good knowledge of scripting languages, particularly Shell, Python and/or PowerShell.
- Experience with application servers and web servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, Apache and/or IIS.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server and/or MySQL, including basic SQL knowledge.
- Experience with infrastructure backup solutions and restore procedures.
- Experience with monitoring tools, ideally Zabbix and/or Grafana.
- Knowledge of LDAP, Firewall, Reverse Proxy, Active Directory and Kerberos.
- Knowledge of container-based infrastructure.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts.
Responsibilities
- Provide application and production support for assigned applications.
- Develop and maintain strong technical and functional knowledge of the supported applications.
- Effectively manage, investigate and resolve production incidents, ensuring compliance with established SLAs.
- Proactively identify root causes and effective solutions for recurring incidents.
- Follow up and coordinate technical operations and infrastructure changes, including activities such as server shutdowns, server mode changes and other operational interventions.
- Participate in change management across applications and infrastructure, collaborating with Development, Systems Administration, DBA, Networking and other technical teams.
- Monitor applications and infrastructure and ensure appropriate response to alerts and operational issues.
- Monitor and manage application capacity and load, identifying potential performance or scalability issues.
- Manage backup data and ensure that regular restore tests are performed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical and operational documentation, including application architecture, components, procedures and monitoring requirements.
- Continuously automate and improve existing operational procedures, reducing manual intervention and improving reliability.
- Work closely with Development teams through regular follow-ups and technical coordination.
- Collaborate with Development teams in defining the architecture of new applications, ensuring alignment with infrastructure standards.
- Participate in on-call and out-of-hours interventions when required.
- Contribute to the overall stability, availability, performance and continuous improvement of the supported applications and infrastructure.
