Test analyst (FR speakers)

🚀 We're Hiring: Test Analyst | Porto

📍 Location: Porto, Portugal

💼 Experience: 3+ years in Software Testing

🗣️ Language: French (mandatory)

✈️ Travel: Portugal & occasional international travel

We are looking for an experienced Test Analyst to join our team in Porto and contribute to testing projects within the Life Insurance and Banking domains.

The role will be part of a mature Test Centre, responsible for test design and execution across critical business applications and projects.

🔎 What will you do?

As a Test Analyst, you will:

• Design and prepare business tests according to project methodology and standards

• Define, prioritize and document test cases using dedicated testing tools

• Execute tests and accurately record results

• Support Go / No-Go decisions by providing relevant testing information

• Identify, document and follow up on defects and anomalies

• Contribute to defect prioritization, correction and subsequent validation

• Monitor testing progress, risks, quality and deadlines

• Provide regular feedback to the Test Lead and project stakeholders

• Contribute to test reporting and project documentation

• Organize and prioritize your workload independently while following established procedures and methodologies

🎯 What are we looking for?

Must-have:

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field

• 3+ years of professional experience in Software Testing

• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and terminology, ideally ISTQB

• Experience creating and managing test schedules

• Strong risk identification and follow-up skills

• Good understanding of project methodologies

• Fluent/strong French communication skills

Nice to have:

• 5+ years of testing experience

• Experience testing Life Insurance or Banking applications

• Knowledge of Octane

• SQL knowledge

• API testing experience

• SAS knowledge

• Experience with Control-M or other scheduling tools
