We would like to meet a Scrum Master for a hybrid project based in Porto (twice a week in the office)


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of managing Agile teams in the software development field, preferably within the payments or financial services industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM)) is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and practices, with hands-on experience applying them in complex environments.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to influence and motivate team members effectively.
  • Experience working in an international environment and ability to manage virtual teams across different time zones.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to navigate complex challenges while maintaining a focus on team success.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello) is a plus.
  • Good level of English (minimum B2).


Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Daily Scrum, Sprint Plannings, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring effective collaboration and engagement among team members.
  • Coach the team on Agile methodologies, helping them to understand and implement best practices to optimize their workflows and enhance productivity.
  • Act as a servant leader, removing impediments that may hinder the team’s progress and fostering an environment of trust and open communication.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure a well-defined and prioritized product backlog that meets business needs and aligns with project goals.
  • Monitor and report on team performance metrics, facilitating discussions around improvements and adjustments to enhance team efficiency.
  • Work with other Scrum Masters and stakeholders to align project goals and share best practices across teams in different locations.
  • Support the team in defining and achieving their goals while encouraging self-organization and accountability.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project timelines or deliverables, and proactively communicate these to stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging experimentation and learning within the team.
  • Keep your team leader updated on the updates of the projects.
