Job Title: Junior Data Engineer

Location: Atlanta, GA - Anywhere in United States

Duration: Fulltime

We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our growing data team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong foundation in data engineering concepts who are eager to build scalable data pipelines and work with modern cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Assist in designing and managing data warehouses and data lakes.
• Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Monitor data quality and troubleshoot pipeline issues.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to support business requirements.
• Work with cloud platforms and big data technologies to process large datasets.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Basic understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to tools like Apache Spark, Airflow, Databricks, or Snowflake is a plus.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
• Understanding of data modeling and database design.
• Relevant certifications are an added advantage.
