Job Description:
- As a Mobile Automation Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping our quality engineering strategy by designing and building intelligent, scalable automation solutions. You’ll collaborate across QA, development, and DevOps teams to identify automation opportunities, streamline testing processes, and drive quality at every stage of the software lifecycle.
Responsibility:
- Design, build, and enhance advanced automation frameworks for each test level such as component test, API, Integration, E2E testing in complex software environments.
- Develop reusable testing tools and low-code automation platforms to increase adoption across development teams.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing, faster releases, and early defect detection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact automation opportunities and implement scalable solutions.
- Own and manage the full automation pipeline from test strategy and tool selection to implementation and monitoring.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot automation systems, ensuring they evolve alongside the product and technology stack.
- Research emerging tools and frameworks, and bring new ideas to the table to keep the automation stack cutting-edge.
- Review technical designs, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and drive automation best practices across teams.
- Contribute to platform and system architecture discussions to align automation with scalable, cloud-native software systems.
- Recommend improvements that enhance efficiency, reliability, and maintainability of testing platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of dedicated experience in Mobile Test Automation Engineering for Android and/or iOS platforms.
- Proficiency in programming language commonly used in automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#).
- Hands-on experience with Appium and mobile automation testing frameworks.Cypress,Robot,Gherkin or similar.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured,GraphQL).
- Experience working with version control systems.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience integrating tests into pipelines.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).
- Knowledge of BDD/TDD and frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
- Experience in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
