About the opportunity
As our Lead Analytics, you'll lead the development and delivery of fleet analytics, reporting and performance insights that enable data-driven decision making across Australia Post's Fleet function. Reporting to the Manager Fleet Digital Systems, you'll lead a team of analytics professionals while partnering with operational, technology and leadership stakeholders to transform complex data into actionable insights. This role will play a pivotal part in strengthening reporting capabilities, improving operational performance and embedding an insight-led culture that delivers measurable business value.
You'll also
- Lead the delivery of analytics and reporting solutions that provide visibility of fleet performance, operational risks and business outcomes.
- Have responsibility for developing and uplifting analytics capability across the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.
- Provide trusted insights and recommendations that support commercial decisions, optimise asset performance and improve operational efficiency.
- Champion the adoption of modern analytics, AI and reporting tools to drive innovation and enhance business performance.
About you
You're a strategic and commercially minded analytics leader who thrives on solving complex business problems through data. You enjoy translating insights into meaningful actions, influencing stakeholders at all levels and helping teams build confidence in data-led decision making. With a collaborative leadership style, you're passionate about developing people, driving innovation and creating practical solutions that deliver tangible business outcomes.
You'll also
- Have significant experience leading analytics, business intelligence or data management functions within a large and complex organisation.
- Bring strong leadership experience, with a proven ability to develop high-performing analytics teams and influence senior stakeholders.
- Hold qualifications in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline, with experience across modern reporting and visualisation platforms highly regarded.
