Job Requirements*

• < · 5+ years of hands-on experience in ScienceLogic SL1, monitoring configuration, and operational management.
• Expertise in PowerPacks, Device Templates, Dynamic Apps, Run Book Automations (RBA), and event policies.
• Strong understanding of monitoring architectures, SNMP, SSH/WMI protocols, synthetic monitoring, and collector deployment.
• Experience integrating SL1 with platforms like ServiceNow, Jira, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, or similar.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting SL1 performance issues, collector stability, and data ingestion workflows.
• Strong analytical skills to design scalable monitoring solutions for infrastructure, networks, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, manage requirements, and communicate technical concepts clearly.>

Key Responsibilities*

• < Design, configure, and enhance ScienceLogic SL1 monitoring solutions for enterprise environments.
• Develop or customize PowerPacks, device classes, and monitoring templates based on customer requirements.
• Implement event correlation, automation workflows, lifecycle policies, and KPI-based dashboards.
• Perform SL1 upgrades, collector scaling, health checks, and platform maintenance.
• Integrate SL1 with CI/CD pipelines, ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow), and external monitoring platforms using REST APIs.
• Conduct POCs, lead SME consulting sessions, and provide guidance to engineering teams.
• Document monitoring architectures, standards, SOPs, and RCA reports.
• Collaborate with infra, cloud, network, and application teams to ensure complete observability coverage.>
