Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Senior AI Engineer | Permanent | Sofia or Budapest

We’re looking for a Mid–Senior AI Engineer to join an AI Incubation Team, building and taking enterprise-grade AI solutions from POC through to production.

You’ll work across Generative AI, multi-agent systems, data pipelines and MLOps, combining hands-on software engineering with AI to build scalable, reliable and production-ready solutions.

What you’ll be doing

• Design, develop and deploy AI & GenAI solutions into enterprise production
• Develop and integrate LLM-based and multi-agent AI products
• Build scalable data pipelines and model deployment workflows
• Implement CI/CD and MLOps practices
• Work with Product Owners, Data Scientists and Architects to turn AI concepts into production systems
• Ensure solutions are scalable, observable, secure and compliant
• Spend around 20–25% of your time leading the AI Maintenance & Operations team

What we’re looking for

• Strong Python development skills (Java also considered)
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask or Django
• Background in microservices and distributed systems
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and GitHub Actions
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and MLOps
• Experience with cloud AI/data platforms such as Azure ML, Databricks or AWS
• Experience with ETL, APIs and model deployment
• Fluent English and a strong problem-solving mindset

Nice to have

• LangChain, CrewAI or other GenAI/multi-agent frameworks
• SAP AI Core / SAP BTP
• Scrum / SAFe experience
