Your role

The Container Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise container solutions with a primary focus on Red Hat OpenShift. In this role, you will bridge traditional IT architecture and modern container technologies to ensure seamless interoperability, security, and optimal performance. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will co-create in real-time with clients to address their most complex business challenges and develop scalable, cost-effective strategies aligned with their strategic objectives.

What you will do

• Architecture & Solution Design: Design and deliver enterprise container platform architectures (Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Rancher) and technical proposals tailored to client requirements and industry best practices.
• Co-Creation & Technical Advisory: Leverage deep expertise in AI, analytics, DevOps, automation, security, networking, and storage to formulate business-aligned technology strategies and innovative client solutions.
• Implementation & Integration: Lead the deployment, migration, and integration of container platforms with minimal business disruption, ensuring platform compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational governance.
• Optimization & Governance: Optimize platform performance, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency using Agile methodologies while maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and solution governance artifacts.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams to drive successful project execution, resolve complex enterprise platform issues, and influence key technical decisions.

You combine strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling you to seamlessly translate complex technical concepts into measurable business value for client leaders.

Required skills and experience

• Experience Level: 8-10+ years of proven experience in IT architecture, container platforms, or cloud-native infrastructure.
• Container Ecosystem Expertise: Strong hands-on expertise with Red Hat OpenShift, OpenShift Quay, and related container ecosystem technologies.
• Observability & Monitoring: Practical experience with enterprise observability, monitoring, and service mesh tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Service Mesh).
• Delivery & Governance: Demonstrated ability to lead architecture discussions, execute Agile methodologies, manage compliance, and drive complex troubleshooting across cross-functional enterprise environments.

• Relevant Certifications: CNCF certifications, Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator (EX280/EX380), or Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD/CKS).
• Extended Platforms: Experience with additional container and hybrid cloud management platforms such as Kubernetes and Rancher.
• Middleware Technologies: Familiarity with enterprise middleware platforms such as Apache Kafka, IBM MQ (AMQS), Red Hat 3Scale, or IBM API Connect (APIC).
• Cloud Architecture: Hands-on familiarity with major public cloud and hybrid cloud architectures (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
