Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Leadership
- Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth across the Indonesia and Philippines insurance market.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for Tier-1 and mid-market insurers.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, COOs, Heads of Distribution, Claims, and Operations.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles including opportunity qualification, solution positioning, proposal management, commercial negotiation, and contract closure.
- Identify opportunities for Core platform modernization, digital transformation, SaaS platforms for Insurance sector
- Expand footprint within existing clients through Protect–Expand–Transform strategies.
- Maintain strong understanding of Indonesia and Philippines insurance market trends, regulations, and competitive landscape.
- Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, analyst engagements, and executive roundtables.
- Build relationships with key ecosystem partners, consulting firms, system integrators, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Provide market intelligence and client feedback to product and leadership teams.
- Position insurance core systems including:
- Policy Administration Systems (PAS)
- Claims Management
- Billing & Payments
- Distribution & Agency Platforms
- Digital Customer Platforms
- Data & Analytics
- AI and Automation Solutions
- Articulate value propositions around:
- SaaS and Cloud modernization
- Legacy transformation
- Operational efficiency
- AI-driven automation
- Product innovation
- Regulatory agility
- Customer experience transformation
- Develop long-term executive relationships with key accounts.
- Coordinate global and regional resources to support client transformation programs.
- Lead strategic workshops and executive presentations.
- Ensure alignment between sales, delivery, consulting, and product organizations.
- Own sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue targets.
- Manage RFPs, commercial negotiations, and governance approvals.
- Ensure compliance with internal sales, legal, and contracting processes.
- 20+ years of enterprise software or IT services sales experience.
- Strong experience selling into the insurance industry in Indonesia and Philippines .
- Proven track record of closing large and complex transformation deals.
- Experience selling one or more of the following:
- Insurance core systems
- SaaS platforms
- Cloud solutions
- Digital transformation services
- AI and automation solutions
- Strong network within Indonesia and Philippines insurers and insurance ecosystem.
- Experience working with C-level executives and senior business stakeholders.
- Understanding of Indonesia and Philippines business culture and enterprise decision-making processes.
- Experience with Life, Health, or General Insurance platforms.
- Exposure to multinational software vendors or large SI organizations.
- Experience working in regional or global matrix organizations.
- Knowledge of:
- Cloud platforms
- AI / GenAI
- API-led integration
- Data & analytics
- Insurance modernization programs
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- MBA preferred.
