Principal Data Platform Architect at BairesDev

In this role, you'll set the technical direction for a modern data platform built on Microsoft Fabric, owning decisions from lakehouse design through multi-tenant publishing. As the most senior technical voice on the platform, you'll define how capacity, security, and semantic models come together at scale. This is your opportunity to operate at principal level, guiding engineering teams and shaping how senior stakeholders understand the platform's architecture.

What You'll Do

• Set the technical direction for a Microsoft Fabric-based data platform at principal level.
• Own lakehouse architecture, semantic model design, and multi-tenant publishing strategy.
• Define Azure security boundaries and platform capacity management practices.
• Guide engineering teams and present architectural decisions to senior stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture or platform engineering.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric, including lakehouse design and Power BI semantic models.
• Proven experience owning Azure security boundaries and capacity management at scale.
• Strong background in multi-tenant publishing for enterprise data platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to operate at a principal level, guiding teams and senior stakeholders alike.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
