TDW is seeking an experienced professional to lead critical process improvement initiatives that bridge Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing functions. This role will focus on strengthening product lifecycle management processes, improving system controls within Microsoft Dynamics AX, and driving operational excellence across new product introduction and engineering change processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and improving current workflows, implementing standardized controls, and ensuring alignment between product design, procurement, engineering, and production. A key objective of this role is to establish greater traceability, accountability, and efficiency across the product development and manufacturing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Improve revision control and document management processes within Microsoft Dynamics AX.
  • Develop and implement standardized item setup and control procedures to improve data integrity and consistency.
  • Establish and maintain supplier review processes and supplier quality standards.
  • Lead improvements to Engineering Change Order (ECO) and Technical Approval Process (TAP) workflows.
  • Create processes within AX to purchase, track, manage, and control prototype parts throughout development and validation.
  • Improve integration between engineering design activities and production/manufacturing systems to ensure seamless product transition from concept to production.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Services, and Operations to implement best practices that improve efficiency, quality, traceability, and overall operational performance.
  • Coordinate and influence cross-functional stakeholders across global locations, including significant interaction with teams in Stavanger, to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
  • Lead process improvement projects and facilitate change management efforts across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

Highly Preferred / Required:

  • Demonstrated success driving process improvement initiatives within manufacturing, engineering, or product development environments.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Preferred

  • Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) experience.
  • Six Sigma background (Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent practical experience).
  • Project or Program Management experience.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, change management, configuration management, and product lifecycle processes.
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), engineering change processes, and cross-functional product development teams.
  • Ability to coordinate activities and influence stakeholders across multiple functions and global locations.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
