About MapLarge:

MapLarge's Application Fabric powers operational AI applications at global scale, turning live operational data into real‑time workflows across cloud, edge, and disconnected environments. Our platform processes over 15 billion location events per day and trillions of historical events, and is trusted by Fortune 1000 enterprises and federal governments to automate decision intelligence and deliver decision advantage.

We’re growing at ~100% year over year across commercial, defense, intelligence, and space markets. We hire exceptional people who want to build something enduring, and who want to be measured by the outcomes they create for customers.

About The Role:

We’re looking for a Director of Enterprise Solutions to drive the long‑term success of several of MapLarge’s most strategic State and Local Government customers. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role that blends executive strategy with technical execution, guiding customers from initial vision through full enterprise deployment. You’ll act as the internal driver for your accounts, building deep trust, solving hard technical problems, and driving mission outcomes that create lasting value.

Responsibilities

  • Drive success in several of MapLarge's most strategic State and Local Government accounts as the executive accountable for their long-term success.
  • Build trusted relationships with executive sponsors, technical leaders, and operational teams.
  • Lead solution strategy from concept through deployment, partnering closely with engineering.
  • Roll up your sleeves to solve complex technical challenges; not just manage from the sidelines.
  • Drive successful implementations, mission outcomes, and expansion opportunities across your accounts.
  • Coordinate engineering, product, support, and leadership around customer priorities.
  • Represent customer needs internally while helping shape long‑term product and platform direction.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years leading enterprise technology initiatives or large‑scale software programs.
  • Experience delivering complex solutions for Fortune 500 companies or State and Local Government customers.
  • Ability to operate comfortably between executive conversations and technical deep dives.
  • Strong technical curiosity- you don’t need to write production code, but you love understanding systems.
  • Proven track record driving multi‑million‑dollar enterprise programs or portfolios.
  • Bias toward action, results, and building clarity amid ambiguity.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Tier 1 Consulting, deployment strategy, or enterprise delivery roles.
  • Background working with cloud, data, or distributed systems.
  • Prior experience in State, Local Government or mission‑critical environments.

Cultural Fit

While we hire all kinds of people and invent roles to fit them, there are four key traits we require of every team member that really define our team.

  • Fun to Work With - Life is short and work should be fun.
  • Smart - We work on cutting-edge hard problems. We need people who are quick learners, can anticipate needs, and solve problems independently while working with an intelligent peer group.
  • Passionate & Proactive - We need people who really love their work and exhibit the energy and creativity that comes from being fully engaged in what you do.
  • Adaptable - We hire team members for specific roles, but we expect adaptability as the business needs change and evolve.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and 401K
  • Top‑notch health care
  • Family‑friendly environment
  • 100% remote flexibility
  • Cutting‑edge tech with an A+ team solving complex, meaningful problems
  • Collaborative, intelligent, positive, and supportive team culture
