Our client is a well-established, innovation-led business in the pharmaceutical and nutritional healthcare space, with a strong international footprint and a reputation for long-term product development and commercial performance.

I am supporting them with the hire of a Commercial Analyst to strengthen forecasting, distributor performance analysis, and commercial decision support across global markets. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys turning complex data into clear, actionable insight.

Role: Commercial Analyst | Location: North West London (NW2) - hybrid (3 days office, 2 from home) | Type: Permanent | Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)

Key responsibilities include
  • Produce monthly outturn forecasts from export orders and maintain visibility of the rolling 4-month order book
  • Identify supply chain risks, delays and stock issues, escalating where appropriate
  • Analyse distributor sales-in and sales-out to spot trends, performance drivers and opportunities
  • Build and improve reporting/processes to measure and evaluate campaign performance (working with International Marketing leadership)
  • Support commercial projects including pricing reviews, new market assessments and distributor incentive programmes
  • Review distributor project briefs, assess commercial viability and provide clear recommendations
  • Coordinate product availability, lead times and shipment status through accurate internal communication and cross-checking
Key skills and experience required
  • Degree educated (ideally Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or similar)
  • Proven experience in a fast-moving, commercial and externally-facing analyst role
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate insight into commercial actions
  • Advanced Excel (highly beneficial)
  • ERP experience (SAP or similar)
  • Understanding of statistical methods, analytical techniques, and basic finance/budgeting
  • Strong attention to detail, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving
  • Comfortable working across international markets and cultures
  • Project management experience is advantageous
