How you make a difference
The Partnership Development Director manages client retention, contract renewals, and business development efforts within a defined territory. This role supports sales growth by identifying new opportunities, contributing to RFP responses, and developing presentations. The director builds strong client relationships, tracks territory performance, and provides strategic recommendations. They collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and competitive positioning. This position requires travel and active participation in industry events.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage rebids, renewals, and client retention strategies to ensure contract continuity
- Identify, support, and close new and existing sales opportunities within the territory
- Lead RFP contributions and create proposal and presentation materials
- Analyze market trends and forecast territory revenue to inform strategy
- Represent the company at industry events and maintain Salesforce documentation
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience in Criminal Justice, Business, Communications or a related field
- A Master’s degree is desirable
- Experience in working with criminal justice systems or selling services to the government or similar agencies is preferred
- Four (4) years of professional experience
- Industry and sales experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of sales strategies specifically for government sales
