Data Architect

We are looking for a hands-on Data Architect to join a data-focused team, contributing to the design, development, and evolution of modern data platforms and solutions based on Microsoft Azure and Databricks.

The ideal candidate combines strong data architecture skills with solid development experience, being comfortable moving from architectural design to hands-on implementation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or similar role with strong architectural responsibilities.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure data and cloud services.
• Strong programming experience with Python.
• Solid experience with PySpark / Apache Spark.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data modelling, ETL/ELT, and data integration.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines.
• Good understanding of Lakehouse architecture and modern data platforms.
• Experience working with large datasets and performance optimization.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Work Model: Hybrid – 1 to 2 days per week in the office (Porto).
