Principal Solution Lead - Data, Analytics & AI

An organization of data and technology consultants is seeking a Principal Solution Lead in the Eastern Time Zone, with a remote or hybrid US work arrangement. This role leads client-facing strategy and solution architecture for enterprise data, analytics, and AI initiatives across modern cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead solution architecture for scalable, secure data, analytics, and AI platforms across cloud environments

• Partner with executive stakeholders and technical leaders to assess needs and define long-term platform roadmaps

• Support technical pre-sales efforts by creating solution blueprints, estimates, proposals, and statements of work

• Establish architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices for data pipelines, streaming, governance, and AI/ML integration

• Guide implementation teams and mentor consultants across client engagements and the broader practice

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or cloud consulting

• 4+ years of experience in a client-facing Solution Lead or Principal Architect role within a systems integrator or consulting environment

• Hands-on expertise with Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables, and PySpark

• Proven experience with Snowflake architecture, performance optimization, and security or data sharing models

• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services for building and supporting data platforms

• Strong Python programming skills for data pipeline development, orchestration, and custom software engineering

• Excellent communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills with the ability to present technical concepts to business stakeholders

• Databricks Certified Solutions Architect Professional

• Snowflake SnowPro Core or Advanced Architect certification

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

• Experience with generative AI, LLM orchestration, feature stores, and MLOps pipelines

• Familiarity with dbt, Terraform, CI/CD automation, and data governance platforms such as Collibra or Alation
