We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Quality Assurance department. This position specifically is located in Norfolk, Virginia. We are looking for a QA Program Analyst. The hours are M-F 6am – 2:45 pm.
Pay Scale
$52, 275 - $69,700
Shift : ALL

- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PURPOSE (Job Description)
- POSITION DEMANDS
- Typically has a college degree or equivalent in Quality or a related Engineering field (preferred), plus minimum five (5) years’ experience in the field; or Quality Management System (or equivalent) program analytics experience (5 years).
- Have a good understanding of ISO standards, ship specifications, drawings, MIL-STD, CFRs, ABS Rules, etc. or be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of these requirements within 6 months to a year.
- Knowledge of statistical methods and problem-solving tools.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Have strong computer word processing skills.
- Creating, evaluating, and reporting process/procedure performance analytics such as key performance indicators (KPI).
- Conduct process audits.
- Actively participates in implementing and monitoring continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, improve quality, reduce cycle time, and reduce costs.

- WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
- PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acts as an audit team member and conducting audits of processes, procedures, and products.
- Assists with subcontractor evaluations
- Assists with audits and proposing and preparing updates to Quality Assurance Department procedures.
- Analyzes processes as necessary and recommending improvements as appropriate for out-of-control process conditions, sporadic defects and non-conforming products.
- Develop and manage excel performance databases with multiple processes and graphic displays of performance trends and KPI metrics. Power BI experience is a plus.
- Assists in the design of production, engineering, and materials processes, including data collection and appropriate statistical methodologies.
- Maintains an understanding of contractual quality requirements.
- Provides input, as appropriate, to business and production plans.
- Assist in Monitoring corrective action plans and milestone dates and ensures correction of internal control deficiencies.
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
- ACCOUNTABILITY
Unique/Additional Requirements
Regular, reliable attendance on-site is an essential function of the job. Occasional weekend work and / or extended hours. Occasional travel to job locations throughout Hampton Roads. Must quality for a CAC or DBIDS badge. Security Clearance (preferred).
