The post holder will work with 2 consultant psychiatrists (0.9 WTE) to support the development and implementation of a ‘hospital at home’ model of acute psychiatric care alongside the restructuring of inpatient treatment and care for older people. The Acute Community Treatment for Older People Service (ACTOPS) will provide a safe and effective community-based alternative to inpatient admission for selected older people who would otherwise require hospital treatment. It will deliver specialist, multidisciplinary, consultant-led acute psychiatric treatment in the community for older people with functional mental illness and/or dementia.Flexible WorkingSuccessful applicants have the opportunity to request Flexible Working from the 1st day of their employment.
