Senior Dynamics Developer (Remote Opportunity)

The position will support a collaborative Agile environment where the developer will configure Dynamics 365, develop custom solutions and integrations, support testing and deployments, and troubleshoot production issues. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with Dynamics 365, JavaScript, C#, .NET, Power Platform, and enterprise integrations while following Microsoft best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements.
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement customizations, plugins, workflows, and integrations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service).
- Configure Dynamics 365 modules to meet business requirements, including entities, forms, views, business rules, and process automation.
- Integrate Dynamics 365 with enterprise systems using APIs, web services, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and other integration tools.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
- Conduct unit testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and manage the deployment of Dynamics 365 customizations and updates.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance tuning for Dynamics 365 solutions while creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service).
- Proficiency in Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, and development using JavaScript, C#, .NET, and Power Platform.
- Experience developing and maintaining Dynamics 365 APIs, web services, and enterprise integrations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to develop scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional project teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics products for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other federal agencies.
- Experience with Azure services such as Logic Apps and Azure Functions, along with familiarity with data migration, ETL processes, DevOps practices, Agile/Scrum environments, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- All selected candidates must successfully complete a background check.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance, including required fingerprinting, when required for the position.
