Job Title: Pre-Sales Engineer (Enterprise Solutions)

Role Overview

Snapnet is seeking a high-calibre Pre-Sales Engineer to support enterprise sales engagements across its core solution portfolio:

The ideal candidate will act as the technical authority during the sales cycle, working closely with Account Executives, Practice Leads, and Delivery Teams to design, position, and defend secure, scalable, and commercially viable enterprise solutions.

This role is consulting-focused, not product-only or SaaS-only, and requires strong engagement with C-suite, IT leadership, and regulatory stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Pre-Sales Engagement

• Partner with Account Executives to qualify opportunities and shape technical win strategies
• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer business, technical, and regulatory requirements
• Translate requirements into clear solution architectures and implementation approaches
• Deliver technical presentations, demos, and executive briefings
• Support bid defenses, clarifications, and customer technical Q&A sessions

Solution Architecture & Design

• Design end-to-end architectures across:
• Cloud & hybrid environments
• Security-first enterprise systems
• Data, AI, and analytics platforms
• ERP and CRM ecosystems
• Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, scalability, and cost considerations
• Develop architecture diagrams, solution flows, and deployment models

Proposals & Commercial Support

• Lead or contribute to:
• RFP, RFI, RFQ, and tender responses
• Technical proposals and statements of work
• BOMs, cost estimates, and TCO/ROI models
• Support pricing discussions with technical and commercial clarity
• Ensure proposed solutions are deliverable and supportable

Internal Collaboration

• Collaborate with Delivery, Project Management, and Engineering teams for smooth handover
• Provide pre-sales insights to influence solution standardization and best practices
• Stay current with partner technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

Experience

• 6–10+ years of experience in:
• Pre-sales engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting
• Proven experience supporting enterprise or public sector sales cycles
• Strong background in one or more of:
• Cloud, cybersecurity, data & AI, analytics, ERP/CRM

Technical Background

• Strong understanding of enterprise IT architectures
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and compliant solutions
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Key Skills & Competencies

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with strong Laravel (PHP) experience and working knowledge of Node.js to support legacy applications while actively contributing to our transition toward a modern Node.js-based backend architecture.

Modern Backend Development (Node.js)

· Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js

· Build RESTful APIs consumed by React frontends and third-party services

· Participate in rewriting or refactoring Laravel modules into Node.js services

System Transition & Collaboration

· Work closely with React frontend engineers, QA, and Product Managers

· Participate in code reviews across Laravel and Node.js codebases

· Support gradual decommissioning of legacy Laravel systems

Required Skills & Experience
