Overview
GLDS is US-based product company building mission-critical software that powers billing, provisioning, and operations for broadband providers across North America - systems that directly impact real customers and revenue.
We are building BroadHub.NEXT— the next generation of our platform. This is not a greenfield project. This is a live, revenue-critical system evolving into a modern architecture.
You will be working on:
- A multi-tenant platform (200+ deployments) with strict isolation requirements
- High-volume transactional systems (billing, payments, provisioning)
- Real-time and asynchronous workflows (APIs, webhooks, external integrations)
- Modernization of a mature platform into a scalable, service-oriented architecture
We are looking for engineers who think in systems, understand trade-offs, and take ownership.
Tech Stack (Current & Evolving)
- Backend: .NET (ASP.NET Core), REST APIs
- Frontend: Angular, Kendo UI
- Data: SQL (high-volume, performance-critical workloads)
- Integrations: APIs, webhooks, external systems
- Infrastructure: Docker (Kubernetes exposure is a plus)
What You’ll Do
- Own design and development of core system components
- Build scalable backend services using .NET (ASP.NET Core)
- Develop data-intensive Angular UI tightly coupled with backend workflows
- Drive architecture decisions and challenge existing approaches
- Design and implement reliable integrations (payments, e-signature, external systems)
- Solve performance challenges across large datasets, high-throughput workflows, and time-sensitive operations
- Work directly with product, QA, and engineering leadership on production-critical issues
- Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards and practices
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with:
- .NET / C# (ASP.NET Core, REST APIs)
- Angular (or similar SPA frameworks)
- SQL databases, including performance tuning
- Work directly with US-based product teams and real customers
- Experience building and evolving complex, long-lived systems
- Ability to design systems and make clear trade-offs (performance vs. complexity vs. scalability)
- Strong debugging skills in production environments
- Comfortable working with ambiguous requirements and evolving systems
- Experience mentoring and participating in code reviews
- Actively uses AI tools to accelerate development and problem-solving — with critical judgment
- EU citizenship (or legal right to work in the EU)
- Strong English communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with multi-tenant systems
- Knowledge of integration patterns (webhooks, idempotency, retry strategies)
- Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of security and performance best practices
This Role Is NOT
- A pure frontend/UI position
- A ticket-driven implementation role
- A greenfield project without real-world constraints

Compensation
We offer a competitive compensation package aligned with senior-level engineers in Kaunas, based on experience, ownership, and system design capability.
Typical range: €3,500 – €6,000 gross/month
Final offer depends on:
- Depth of system design experience
- Ability to operate in production-critical environments
- Ownership and impact demonstrated in previous roles
We are open to top-of-market offers for candidates who demonstrate strong technical leadership and ownership.
Compensation may include:
- Base salary
- Performance-based bonus
