English Requirement — C1/C2

C1 or C2 professional English proficiency is required.

This is a phone-intensive role selling to U.S. businesses. You must be comfortable conducting fast-moving, spontaneous, scripted and unscripted conversations with native English speakers.

That includes understanding different speaking styles and colloquialisms, asking follow-up questions, handling objections, and adapting your response in real time.

Excellent written English alone is not sufficient. Strong professional spoken English and telephone communication skills are essential.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous SDR, BDR, inside-sales, or outbound B2B sales experience
  • Experience calling and selling to U.S. businesses strongly preferred
  • C1/C2 spoken and written English
  • Strong telephone presence and confidence
  • Ability to listen, think, and adapt without relying on a rigid script
  • Comfortable asking questions and handling objections
  • Strong follow-through and attention to detail
  • Experience working with a CRM
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with company leadership
  • Availability during U.S. business hours

Experience with automotive, fleet, technology, SaaS, IoT, telematics, or B2B equipment is preferred.

Projects

About Altricity
Altricity is a U.S.-based automotive technology startup developing innovative vehicle power and battery-recovery technology for commercial fleets, automotive dealers, upfitters, resellers, and other vehicle-based businesses. We're looking for a part-time Sales Development Representative based in Latin America to help develop our U.S. dealer, reseller, upfitter, and fleet channels. This is not a scripted appointment-setting or call-center role. We need someone who can have real sales conversations. You'll speak directly with U.S. business owners, managers, and other decision-makers—reaching the right people, asking questions, handling objections, qualifying interest, and determining the appropriate next action. As you learn our products, customers, and sales process, there is an opportunity to take greater ownership of channel accounts and partner relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Make outbound calls to targeted U.S. business prospects and existing leads
  • Follow up with prospects who have previously expressed interest, spoken with us, or received product information
  • Navigate gatekeepers and identify the appropriate decision-makers
  • Conduct initial sales and qualification conversations
  • Ask good questions and respond naturally to questions and objections
  • Determine the appropriate next action rather than simply trying to book every prospect into a meeting
  • Schedule meetings or bring our founder/CEO into a conversation when appropriate
  • Coordinate follow-up information and sales materials
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including conversation notes, status, and next actions
  • Consistently follow up so promising opportunities don't fall through the cracks
  • Share prospect feedback and recurring objections so we can continuously improve our sales process

We provide the target accounts, product training, sales materials, CRM, and initial sales framework. We need someone who can learn the business and think during the conversation rather than simply read a script.

What Success Looks Like

We don't measure success simply by the number of calls made or appointments booked.

We care about productive conversations that move accounts forward.

That could mean reaching the right decision-maker, uncovering interest, answering a question, resolving an objection, identifying another stakeholder, sending requested information, scheduling a follow-up, qualifying an opportunity, booking a meeting, or bringing company leadership into the conversation at the right time.

Schedule

This is initially a part-time role, approximately 15–20 hours per week, with the opportunity to expand based on performance and business needs.

Working hours must overlap with U.S. business hours. Consistent weekday availability is important because the position requires outbound calling, callbacks, and timely prospect follow-up.

Hours & Compensation

$10-15 / hour USD

Preferred Experience

Experience in automotive, commercial fleet, telematics, IoT, vehicle technology, dealerships, upfitters, or other B2B equipment markets is a plus.Experience selling to U.S. small and mid-sized businesses, particularly business owners, dealers, resellers, or channel partners, is also highly valued. Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales follow-up is helpful.
