Serves as a strategic leader responsible for managing complex wastewater treatment planning, design, and construction projects while leading client relationships across Western New York and developing a high-performing team to support future growth. This role combines project delivery excellence, business development, client account management, and people leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery
- Lead wastewater conveyance and treatment and water distribution and treatment planning,
- design, and construction projects.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and client expectations.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
- Provide executive-level project reporting and risk management.
- Serve as Client Service Lead for key municipal clients.
- Build trusted relationships with utilities, municipalities, and regulators.
- Develop strategic account plans and identify future opportunities.
- Represent the firm at industry events and stakeholder meetings.
- Lead proposals, pursuits, and interviews.
- Develop market growth strategies and maintain project pipeline.
- Support annual sales, revenue, and profitability objectives.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain engineering professionals.
- Develop succession plans and future leaders.
- Conduct performance evaluations and career development planning.
- Promote a collaborative, high-performing culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 15+ years of municipal wastewater consulting experience.
- Demonstrated project management, client service, and staff leadership experience.
The base salary range for this position is $200,000.00 to $240,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
